English

Mouratoglou International School is on the route des Dolines in Biot, on a secured twelve-hectare campus, and it runs two tracks in parallel. The French section leads to the brevet and the baccalauréat général with Cambridge English certification alongside. The American section is taught entirely in English and leads to a High School Diploma with Advanced Placement courses, and a dual diploma combining the two is possible. Academic lessons are concentrated in the mornings, finishing mid-afternoon or at lunchtime twice a week, with afternoons given to a sport, an art or a leadership programme.

The detail worth checking is what those American credentials actually buy. The school is accredited by CIS and MSA, is an official SAT and AP test centre, and its courses are NCAA-approved, which is the specific requirement for a pupil hoping to play a sport at a United States university on a scholarship. AP results also convert into credit at many American universities before a student even arrives. If a North American destination is the plan, ask every school here about those three things rather than reading the prospectus.
