École Montessori Internationale de Nice opened in 2021 on boulevard Prince de Galles, founded by Nadia Hamidi, who has more than twenty-five years in Montessori teaching, with Gérald Maradan. It runs three groups: a Children's Community for two to three year olds, a Children's House for three to six and an Elementary class for six to twelve. The environment is bilingual with English-speaking teachers, and the school keeps an educational psychology team and works with varied learning profiles, including neurodivergent and intellectually gifted children. The day runs 08:15 to 17:45.

Here is the point that should shape your visit anywhere, not only here. Montessori is not a protected title in France: any school may use the word with no trained teacher on its staff. What can be checked is the diploma behind it. Every teacher at this school holds an AMI qualification, from the Association Montessori Internationale, and the school belongs to Montessori France. So ask who trained the teachers in the specific classroom your child would join, rather than reading the sign on the door.
